The Junior Class at Village Preschool is designed for children ages 3 and 4.
Children in this class must have turned 3 by September 1st.
The Junior Class meets on Tuesday and Thursdays from 9:15 – 11:45am.
There is a maximum enrollment of 14 children.
CURRICULUM
The curriculum is based on developmentally appropriate practices. Projects are related to the season and nature. Each month the children experience a new color and shape. They learn the properties of each shape and the intensity and variation of each color by using them in painting, cutting and gluing. Children may bring something to share once a week, please no guns or violent toys. Science or nature items may be brought anytime.
CELEBRATIONS
We celebrate each child’s Birthday, Halloween (including a special pumpkin carving night for dads or another special person and children), Sharing Feast, winter holidays, Valentine’s Day, Pajama Party, Spring party, May Day, and Mother’s Day.
